It’s April now. It’s not your time anymore, please go away. I know you slept in and missed most of the winter, but I think you more than made up for that in February and March. Please, let Mr. Sunshine have his time in the…err…sun. We don’t want you anymore.

In other less weather related news, here’s some fun stuff that I should* be doing over the next few days:

  • Thursday – Rock the Wine at Trocaderos. Doors at 6, show at 7. It’s a wine launch party for Sacre Bleu wines and features live music by White Light Riot, one of my favorite locals bands mainly because two of the band members are related to one of my favorite people.
  • Saturday – Brunch at my favorite brunch place: Hell’s Kitchen. My mouth is watering just thinking about the caramel rolls…check out this Salon article if you want a taste of what the big deal is about.
  • Saturnight – MN Beer Gathering/Beer Advocate Spring Thaw at The Blue Nile. I’m hoping to bring one of my roommates along so that he can geek out on beer with me.

*lately, I’ve been very good at making plans for überfun, and then not following through. I blame the weather and lingering plague, but those are just making excuses for me being überlame. I’ll try to do better this week. I swear.
