Promises fulfilled February 5

So, I may have advertised this place to people who I know IN REAL LIFE (zOMG OHNOES!!!!1!!!) so in order to stay on their good side, I might as well fulfill some promises I made last night.

1.) I promised I’d share the link that first taught me about the moniker Sexy Rexy.

2.) I promised that I’d share the link that proves that football is SO gay (in the good way!)

3.) Finally, the photography class that I’m taking is this one.

This weekend was a lot of fun, though I don’t have much new to report.  Team Boobylicious made and packaged over 1200 chocolate truffles (about 20 of which were “special”, and were used as part of the celebration of C.’s birthday — you can read that however you want, perverts).  I made meat wrapped in meat (wrap cocktail wieners with bacon, sprinkle with 3/4 cup brown sugar, bake at 350 for 40 mins) for the superbowl party, but it didn’t go over as well as it did at new years (probably something to do with the lack of drunken stupidity). 

Happenings at Chez TPH during the month of February (if you know where Chez TPH is, feel free to stop by):

  • 2/10 – Nerd 1 is hosting a birthday party for a friend of his.  For some reason, he seems to believe it’s necessary to do this in the garage, which he’s going to spend the week emptying.  I wish him luck.
  • 2/17 – Nerd 2 is hosting a LAN Party.  The game will be Unreal Tournament, so I might actually have to play (former glory to relive and all).  Concurrent with the geekfest in the basement, there will be a get drunk and watch movies party upstairs.
  • 2/25 – I am hosting an Oscar party.  Not sure how I’m going to do it yet, but I want the evening to involve wine and chocolate somehow — so save the date.
